Chocolate Berry Wreath Cake Recipe
Deliciously appetizing recipe of Chocolate Berry Wreath Cake perfect to be served alongside season’s greetings!
Ingredients
Unsweetened cocoa powder cocoa - 1 tablespoon
All-purpose flour 1and a half flour
Sugar 1 cup
Instant expresso coffee powder – 1 tablespoon
Baking Soda – 1 tsp
Salt – one pinch
Eggs (lightly beaten) -2
One cup of water
Canola Oil or Vegetable Oil (1/3 cup)
Cider vinegar or white vinegar – 1 tbsp
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Milk Chocolate Butter Frosting – 1
Assorted berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries) – 1 to 2 cups
Strawberry jelly – 2 tablespoon
White chocolate bow – 1 recipe
White baking chocolate 2 ounces chopped with cocoa butter or vanilla flavor candy coating.
Softened butter – 3 tablespoon
Milk chocolate pieces melted and cooled – ¼ cup
Powdered sugar - ¼ cup
Milk – 2 to 3 tablespoon
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Method :
1. Preheat your oven to 35o degrees F.
2. Take a round cake baking pan and grease it with butter.
3. Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder.
4. Shake the pan so that the cocoa powder coats evenly on the bottom and on the sides of the pan. Shake out if there’s any excess and keep the pan aside.
5. Take a large bowl and stir together in it the flour, sugar, ½ cup cocoa powder, expresso powder (optional), a pinch of salt and baking soda and then set aside the bowl as well.
6. For the next step take a medium bowl and combine in it one after another eggs, water, oil and vanilla essence. Beat the egg gradually. You can also beat the egg with an electric mixer on low

10. For the next step frost the top and the sides of the pan with Milt Chocolate Butter Frosting.

11. Arrange the berries as per your choice on the edge of the cake so as to make it look like a wreath. Heat strawberry jelly until it melts and then brushes it evenly over the berries.
