Delicious Plum Cake Recipe
Although Christmas is gone but there is no reason why we can’t relish on delicious delights such as Plum Cake. So get your kitchen accessories in order because here is the final recipe of the series:
Ingredients:
Refined flour – 1 cup
Baking powder – ½ tsp
Cocoa Powder – 2 tbsp
Walnuts chopped – 2 tbsp
Raisins chopped – 3 tbsp
Softened butter – ½ cup
Brown Sugar – 1 cup
Vanilla essence – Few drops
Eggs – 3
Lemon zest – 1 tsp

Method:
1 - Firstly, preheat the oven to 160 degree.
2 - Take a cake tin and grease it well with softened butter. (Remember to grease it and not coat it)
3 - Sieve the flour along with the baking powder in a bowl. Add the cocoa powder and mix it well.
4 - Then one by one add the walnuts and raisins and again mix it well.
5 - Take another bowl and cream the butter, brown sugar and vanilla essence in it with the help of an electric mixer.
6 - Beat the mixture of brown sugar and vanilla essence it until it has frothed.
7 - Then slowly add to the mixture of brown sugar the eggs and the lemon zest. Mix it continuously.
8 - Pour the cake batter into the brown sugar mixture and fold it softly.
9 - Take the greased tin and pour the cake mixture and bake it in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
10 - Remove the cake from the oven and keep it aside to cool.
