Courtallam (or Kutralam) fall is situated on the Western Ghats in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu, India at a stature of about 167 meters. The Chittar River, the Manimuthar River, the Pachaiyar River and the Tambaraparani River create from this fall. This spot is known as "Spa of south" .It is given to Lord Siva. The water of this fall has medicinal qualities to cure physical diseases. Throughout the season (period June to September in consistently) many visitors from nearer states visit this spot. The waters of the falls are accepted to have restorative properties as they gone through backwoods of herbs before their fall. Sightseers who visit and bathe in the waters assert that the water has a smoothing impact, help the old feel youthful and the wiped out mend quickly.   3. Old Courtallam Falls - About 4 miles from the Main falls is the Old falls, seldom frequented. 
  4. Shenbaga Devi Falls- A mile far from the Main falls is the Shenbagadevi falls, purported due to its area close to the sanctuary of Shenbagadevi. Throughout full moon days vast swarms visit this sanctuary. 
  5. Honey Falls - About 3 miles from the Main falls on the privileged societies of the rocks is the Honey falls. It is purported due to bee houses on the projection.
